YOT Qualified Social Worker – South Yorkshire

Our client has a vacancy for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a Youth Offending Team based in South Yorkshire. This is a contract position with an immediate start. The pay rate for this role is £22 per hour.

Duties include -
- Work with young offenders referred to the team in order to help reduce offending behaviour.
- To provide pre-sentence and other reports and information for the courts in order to assist sentences to arrive at an appropriate decision.
- To supervise young people aged 10-17, subject to contracts, community services and custodial sentences, both individually and in groups, in order to address their offending behaviour, enable and assist them and provide support to their families.

Requirements -
You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW / CCETSW), must be GSCC registered and be eligible to work in the UK. All applicants must be flexible and candidates must also have experience working in a youth offending environment.
